Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment Program
In August 2013, the Grenadian Parliament passed Act No. 15 of 2013 (also known as the ‘Grenada Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013’) and with it came into existence the Citizenship by Investment Program. To “enable persons to acquire permanent residence and citizenship of Grenada by registration following investment in Grenada” is the objective of the act. Qualifying criteria
- The main applicant ought to be of 18 years of age or above.
- He or she must not have any criminal record.
- He or she must pass a Due Diligence examination.
- The applicant ought to make the appropriate investment.
- It is mandatory for the applicant to hold the real estate investment for 5 years.
- The applicant may include dependents, if any, in the application. Any dependents children aged up to 36 years of age will be considered dependents if and only if they are fully dependent on the main applicant and studying full time for higher education and unmarried.

- For each extra dependent - US $ 25,000/-
The due diligence and background check fees to be paid by the applicant is as follows:-

- For a dependent aged between 12 to 17 years - US $ 2,000/-
The additional processing and application fees are:-

Under this option, the applicant can make a one-time monetary contribution of US $ 200,000/- for a family of four or US $150,000 for an individual applicants. For each additional dependent, the contribution is US $ 25,000/-.
